Vitamin B12 Injections
B12 is essential for the health of your skin, hair and nails as it plays a role in cell reproduction and therefore the renewal of your skin. B12 is required to make red blood cells, usually B12 is absorbed into the body through the foods that we eat, however some people may not get enough. Those who follow a Vegan lifestyle, for example are more likely to benefit from added Vitamin B12.
Having a Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause a whole host of symptoms including extreme fatigue and depression.
B12 starts to work instantly however it may take a while before your symptoms improve. It may be required to have B12 injections each week for a few weeks to boost your levels and then once symptoms have gotten better every 3 - 6 months may be enough.
