Semi Permanent Brows
Semi-permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, is a technique in which pigments are deposited into the upper layer of the skin to enhance facial features, imitate the look of hair or fill in gaps. This procedure aims to replicate the look of natural hairs or conventional makeup, such as eyebrow filling and lip colour, but with longer-lasting results.

Post treatment Care
You may experiance some swelling, tenderness, redness & tingling. This is all normal. Your skin has been through some trauma and is already starting to heal. During the first couple of days starting around 2 hours after treatment dabb off any fluid in the treatment area using cool boiled water on a cotton pad, this will minimise any scabbing.
For the first seven days only use the ointment in your aftercare pack on the treatment area. Apply this with clean hands and/or a cotton bud 2x a day. Remember less is more, we don't want the brows to look greasy as they need air to heal. If you have been advised to dry heal then please do not put any ointment on the brow area. Be careful when washing your face not to get the brows excessively wet or any product on them.
Most SPMU will have healed on the surface after two weeks. During the first two weeks you should avoid touching the brows, sunbeds, saunas, swimming, sweating, direct shower spray, heat & excessive sunshine.
After two weeks you don't need to be as careful washing your face as long as the water is cool.

It is completely normal for your brows to become itchy, flaky or scab. Your brows will seem darker for the first few days and then fade. You may go through a 'ghosting phase' where the pigment will seem to have disapeared, it will return. Don't forget that you get a complimentary 4-6 week touch up so anything that heals uneven, patchy or if you want to go darker can be done at this appointment.

I understand that all of these instructions can be daunting, i am just at the other end of the phone if you need me. Remeber that you will get the best healed results if you follow the aftercare.
